Block II Practicum
- Heidi Blair's 2nd grade classroom at Fort Lincoln Elementary
- Completed 80 hours
- Cooperated with aides and paraprofessionals to differentiate lessons for students with special needs
- Participated an IEP meeting
- Engaged in multiple PLC meetings with the 2nd grade team and principal and discussed student scores on subtraction assessments. I also collaborated to implement interventions for students who were struggling with their math skills
- Taught and differentiated instruction for 7 lessons (Science: magnets / Math: data collection, money identification, money rotation / Social Studies: current events / Reading: summarization / Art: helping hands and hearts)
- Led instructional small group reading for students of various reading levels
